 As a well-known reporter for WMFE National Public Radio Orlando or NPR Orlando, Amy Green has developed stories about Florida’s environment and its many issues. She is an award-winning journalist who has worked as a regular contributor to NPR, PEOPLE, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor and other top news organizations.
Recently, Green became engaged in a series of stories on climate change in partnership with the Florida Center for Investigative Reporting. Green is the author of an in progress book about the Everglades due out in 2020.
Join us to learn about Florida’s environment, climate change, the Everglades and more. As a native Floridian, Green gives us both a personal and a reporter’s perspective on Florida’s ever-changing environment and what it might mean for the future.
